Senior flocking is the biggest fundraiser the senior class has and raises money for after-prom. This year’s goal is to raise over $6000 from flocking. “We are really trying to make this the best after-prom we possible can, with more games, food, and prizes,” Jacki Dawson, the fundraiser organizer, said.

Moe’s Southwest Grill’s opening night, Wednesday, January 20th, served as a fundraiser benefitting Huntsville High School. “All of the proceeds...are going to Huntsville High School to support the education of our students,” Dean of Instruction Karen Murdoch said. “[Moe’s] is locally owned, and they’re supporting our students and our community.”

Our New Deputy Superintendent

Dr. Greg Rodriguez is our new Deputy Superintendent for Student Services. Dr. Rodriguez has 

been in education for twenty years serving as a teacher, administrative supervisor, director and 

assistant superintendent. He was in San Marcos ISD before moving to Huntsville ISD.
